St. Valentine’s Day

The Foreign Languages Department ​​traditionally celebrated St. Valentine’s Day, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the State Institution «Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University».

In an unusual distance format for us, the Department expressed its love and respect for the university. A photo contest was organized on the social networks Instagram and Facebook. Students of different courses and specialties took part. The main task was to post a holiday-themed photo in stories on theirs pages with a mandatory link to the Department page and a hashtag.

The students easily coped with the task and showed themselves actively. There was no limit to the creativity of students’ photos: group photos, photos with animals, cute selfies and even full-fledged photo shoots with various thematic props filled the stories of the faculty’s page a week before the holiday.

The teachers of our Departmen joined the celebration, so they added their warm and sincere photos to the collection of the 2021 photo competition. The goal of the contest to connect our hearts on Valentine’s Day has been fully fulfilled. The winners of the competition did not go unnoticed and were awarded memorable prizes from the Department. Everyone remained aesthetically intense that day.
