All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference

The Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the ER IPP together with the Department of Pedagogy of the ER IPMAPE held the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference.

On February 16, 2021, the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” together with the Department of Pedagogy of the Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education organized and held the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual problems of training specialists in preschool and primary education” (organizer – Associate Professor L. Varianytsia).

Within the framework of the event, the most urgent problems of training specialists of a new generation were discussed (V. Dokuchaeva, N. Cherviakova, L. Varianytsia, S. Bader, E. Kravchishina, M. Epikhina, I. Grechishkina, O. Dudnik, S. Bezborodykh, A. Zazharska, K. Sinenko, V. Teterev, K. Borysenko, Ye. Shkarupa).

Scientists and practitioners discussed the problems of introducing new educational technologies, the relevance of the development of critical thinking of applicants, the formation of academic integrity and information competence, etc.

Ya. Chernyshova in her report revealed the features of the course “Culture of good neighborliness”: as a platform for educational innovations”. An interesting and useful report for the teachers of the department and students was the report of N. Kruta “Scientific and pedagogical project “Intellect of Ukraine” in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School. The author outlined the main aspects of the project implementation in the educational process of primary school.

I. Kulachko, as a practicing teacher, shared her experience of introducing elements of STEM education in primary school. A collection of scientific papers was published as a result of the conference.

So, quarantine is not a reason to be bored and, moreover, not a vacation, which is proved in practice by the teachers of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education.

The staff of the department express their sincere hope for an early classroom meeting with future specialists and colleagues, wish everyone health and creative inspiration.
