LTSNU in the World Citation Ranking

The results of the global Transparent Ranking as of January 2021 have been released.

The Transparent ranking: top universities by citations in top Google scholar profiles includes almost 3800 universities from all over the world with a total number of citations over 1000. According to it, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took 3356 place. Among 65 Ukrainian HEIs present in the ranking, our university took 55th place. Among the higher educational institutions of the Luhansk region, we are the only ones included in this ranking.

The rankings used publicly available institutional university profiles at Google Scholar Citations. The citation analysis tool identifies the 210 most cited authors of HEIs and summarizes their citations, excluding the citation of the 20 most cited authors.

As of January 2021, our Alma Mater has been quoted 2,986 times. These data are based on the materials of Webometrics (www.webometrics.info).
