The library of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received new books.
In the modern world, the fashion for reading books is starting to gain momentum. People realized that literature contains a huge experience of different generations – their knowledge, ideas and strategies. They shape their worldview and broaden their horizons. Reading books, you can find the ideal image of yourself in the form of certain fictional characters or real people, and then embody this image in your life. Reading books allows you to find answers to many questions.
So, thanks to close cooperation of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism with the NGO “Ukrainian Initiative”, our higher educational institution received the second part of unique books. The head of the regional organization of this organization Oleh Yakubov, with pleasure, enriched our Alma Mater with historical, documentary and fiction literature.
The university staff and students received more than 100 copies of books for their use, including historical literature (“History of Civilization. Ukraine” by M. Videiko, “History of Success. Famous Ukrainian Businessmen of the 19th century” by Tetiana Vodotyka); photo albums (“Einzigartige Ukraine”); literature dedicated to the acute issue of our time (“War that Never Happened” by G. Zinenko, “Sloviansk. Beginning of the War” A. Shevchenko, “Belarusian Donbas” K. Andriiva, I. Iliash); books dedicated to the biographies of prominent Ukrainians such as Serhii Paradzhanov, Natalia Uzhvii, Les Kurbas, Simon Petliura, Bohdan Stupka; children’s literature (“Simple Constitution”) explanatory dictionaries and many others. The books are available in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
This literature can be interesting for students, teachers and students of all specialties, because they contain material for certain specialties and material about universal human values.
Read books! They inspire and motivate, open up new facets of perception of the world and knowledge of their capabilities.
