A series of online master classes is held for students of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business.
Professional education is key in the life of a student, because the knowledge gained will determine how well the applicant for education will be able to arrange his further career. This approach is no exception in the training of specialists in the hotel and restaurant business. In order to bring the educational process closer to the modern requirements of restaurateurs and hoteliers, teachers of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business cooperate with leading hospitality institutions throughout Ukraine.
For the purpose of additional practical training of students, the teachers of the department conduct events dedicated to professional holidays in the field of hotel and restaurant services. Applicants for education learned about the intricacies of the chosen specialty and observe the work of professionals.
On the International Bartender Day, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Yurii Bezruchenkov, and bartenders of the restaurant “Cult Comedy Hall” (Lviv), began a series of online master classes for applicants for education magoring in “Hotel and Restaurant Business”.
The choice of the restaurant was not accidental. The uniqueness of “Cult Comedy Hall” lies in the fact that it is the first hospitality establishment in Ukraine, where, along with excellent service and cuisine, Stand up events are held every day, thereby popularizing Ukrainian culture and traditions through the service sector. The bartenders of the establishment noted that their profession is not only in the masterful preparation and presentation of cocktails, but also in the timely recognition of the client’s desire and the formation of a good mood.
Another stylish and iconic restaurant in Lviv “Bubbles Bar by Fiorelli”, which constantly collaborates with the department, also joined the event. Professionals in their field shared a recipe for branded cocktails and wished education seekers creative inspiration to always develop their skills and not stop there.
The masterclasses will run for one week starting February 6, and will be available for education applicants to watch via live streams using the Microsoft Teams platform.
