Participation in the International Conference

Doctors of Physics and Mathematics Anatolii Zhuchok and Yurii Zhuchok represented Eastern Ukraine at the International Conference on General Algebra AAA100 in Poland.

From 5 to 7 February at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland), the jubilee International Conference on General Algebra AAA100 was held. Due to the epidemiological situation in the world, this year the conference was held online on the airmeet.com platform. The conference was attended by about 100 experienced and young algebraists from different countries of the world. Ukraine was represented by four mathematicians, two of whom are from our university: Anatolii Zhuchok – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis and Yurii Zhuchok – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis. Scientists-mathematicians presented reports on modern algebra within the framework of the research project “Free systems in the variety of n-multiple semigroups and semigroups of endomorphisms” (№0119U100181).

Special attention at the conference was paid to topical issues of universal algebra, clone theory, lattice theory, semigroup theory, etc. We hope that the exchange of new ideas will give an impetus to obtain further scientific results.
