A meeting of students and academic curators took place at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
On February 3, a meeting of students and academic curators took place at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology on the Microsoft Teems platform. 197 people got on the video link. The moderator was Vira Pushko, Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work. The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Honorary Professor Oleksandr Babichev, who noted that a person, his life and health, honor, dignity are the highest social value. Human life is unique. It can be joyful and sad, but each person is able to create his own way of self-creation.
During the presentation, the Assistant of the Psychology Department Tetiana Fedotova told the students about the crisis situations that arise in every person and recommended ways to overcome them.
Vira Fedorivna noted that people are all different, which makes them unique. Do we often think about the questions: Who am I? Why did I come to this world? Where is my life going? What will I leave behind? Will anyone remember me?ˮ These seem to be simple questions, but they are very difficult to answer. Every person in life must realize his capabilities, having gone through all the stages programmed by age characteristics: youth, maturity, old age. Everyone wants to leave their mark on the earth: plant a tree, build a house, raise a child. Vira Pushko highlighted the values of human life, personal problems that arise in crisis life situations, noted the importance of close attention to people, to their difficulties and problems.
During the event, the students were provided with information on the activities of the centers of psychological assistance at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, their contacts.
The Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Oksana Tsalapova acquainted the participants of the event with the specifics of the educational process in the 2nd semester (schedule, journals, etc.).
As a result of this meeting, everyone thought about the meaning of life, its value for oneself, relatives and friends, and also received useful advice on solving difficult life situations.
