Defense of the dissertation

The staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU congratulates Iryna Tolmachova on the successful defense of her dissertation.

On February 2, 2021, Iryna Tolmachova was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy at the meeting of the Specialized Council DF 29.053.003 for the defense of the dissertation chaired by Svitlana Shekhavtsova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor. The scientific adviser was Svitlana Bader, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

The dissertation work of Iryna Tolmachova “Formation of Media Competence of Future Primary School Teachers During Vocational Training” was carried out in accordance with the thematic plan of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” within the framework of the theme “The system of Training Professionally Competent Specialists in Preschool and Primary Education.”

Official opponents were:

Yana Topolnyk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of Higher School of the State Higher Educational Institution “Donbas State Pedagogical University”;

Tetiana Beshok, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Preschool and Primary Education of the Kremenets Regional Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute named after Taras Shevchenko.

The dissertation work aroused the interest of the council during the discussion. According to the results of the defense, it was unanimously decided to award Iryna Heorhiivna Tolmachova the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in pedagogy – specialty 015 vocational education (in specializations).
