New Director of the ER IPES was appointed

Oleksandr Dubovyi was appointed the new Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

A general meeting of teachers and staff was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, at which the Rector of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” Serhii Savchenko introduced the new Director of the Institute – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Oleksandr Dubovyi. Serhii Viktorovych wished fruitful cooperation of the team and assured of all-round support from the university administration.

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev and the chairman of the Trade Union Organization of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Volodymyr Moroz.

Oleksandr Volodymyrovych is a graduate of our higher educational institution, master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting, master of sports of Ukraine in strongman all-around, European and world champion in strongman all-around, multiple record holder of Ukraine, world record holder.
