Online Open Day

The University held the Online Open Day.

On January 23, our University hosted the Online Open Day. The year 2021 has come, which means that applicants soon will pass the external idependent evaluation and admit to higher educational institutions. Applicants are actively interested in information about universities, so holding this event is an effective means of representing our Alma Mater. Indeed, the rector, vice-rectors for scientific and pedagogical work, deans and directors of structural divisions communicated with the applicants.

At the beginning of the event, the Rector of our Alma Mater Serhii Savchenko addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, where he noted that the university has the opportunity to provide high-quality higher education even in distance learning.

The executive secretary of the Admissions Committee Alina Beshkinska informed those present about the admission campaign-2021, the rules for admission to our higher educational institution. She also noted that the conditions for admission can change.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev told the audience in detail about the infrastructure of dormitories and non-educational activities.

Among the questions asked by the applicants and their parents, the main ones were questions about the necessary certificates for the chosen specialties, creative competitions, cross-entry, admission on the basis of a junior specialist diploma. Some of the applicants were purposefully interested in the selected structural divisions.

Separately, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko told about admission through the educational center “Donbas-Ukraine” and “Crimea-Ukraine”. Deans of the faculties, in turn, announced the activities that they hold for applicants.

At the end of the event, the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University said: “Dear applicants, now you are on the verge of an important choice – the choice of your future life path. Do not be afraid to call us, we are always happy to help you, advise and provide the necessary information. We hope that you will make the right choice, and this is Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. We are waiting for you!”
