Final certification at the ER ICSTT

The Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism held the certification of graduates of the second (master’s) level of higher education.
On January 18, 2021, the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business carried out certification of graduates of the second (master’s) level of higher education majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Business, Tourism (full-time and part-time education).
The certification was held using Skype platform where they were and saw each other at the same time: graduates, chairman, commission members, examiners, secretary.
Welcoming remarks were made by the chairman of the examination commission Oleksandr Kovalenko – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Service of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko; Viktor Drel – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism and Svitlana Bezborodykh – Head of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business.
The examination committee included Oleksandr Meniailenko – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work; Natalia Bykadorova – Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism. Examiners were Svitlana Bezborodykh – Head of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor; Yurii Bezruchenkov – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business; Anastasia Sychova – Candidate of Political Science, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business.
The commission members were presented with master’s theses, performed at a sufficiently high scientific and methodological level, devoted to the problems and prospects of training a junior specialist in hotel and restaurant business in the conditions of the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University; analysis of the management of the competitiveness of the restaurant complex and the definition of directions for its improvement; peculiarities and perspectives of development of author’s tours. The research results were professionally highlighted by alumni.
