Volunteers congratulated children

Volunteers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University congratulated children on New Year’s holidays.

New Year’s holidays are a time of fun, congratulations, hope for a miracle and gifts. Most of all, children are waiting for this fabulousness, because in their dreams they expect the visit of the welcome guests.

Thus, the volunteers of our university together with the staff of the Charity Foundation “Mercy-Luhansk” within the framework of the project “Help for Families” with the financial support of Caritas Österreich congratulated the kids of Starobilsk city on New Year’s holidays. Father Frost and Snegurochka together with their assistants visited 17 families, where they congratulated them on the holidays and gave children sweets, board games, and New Year’s toys for the New Year’s tree. They also handed over gifts from schoolchildren of the Stanichno-Luhansk region and participants of the project “Sustainability and Development”, which the children made with their own hands. Parents were also not left without gifts. The guests presented them with leaflets with comprehensive information about COVID-19.

It is difficult to convey the emotions of children in words, because only they know how to rejoice so sincerely. Sincere smiles and sparkle of eyes have become the best gift for adults on the eve of the New Year’s holidays.
