Dear students, teachers, staff, graduates, postgraduate students and doctoral students of our glorious university!

We sincerely congratulate you on the upcoming New Year holidays. This is a fantastic time of the year when past, present and future merge in an instant. Unwittingly, we begin to sum up the results of 2020 and plan tasks for 2021.

2020 turned out to be super difficult for everyone, because the global pandemic has become a real test for all of humanity. The entire world community has switched to a new mode of life in the online format. Teachers and students of our university are used to meetings on platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet.

Through joint efforts and mutual understanding, the university family survived! And we are proud of the successes of our scientists, athletes, cultural and art workers and, of course, students. Despite the complexity of this year, they were able to multiply the successes of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and glorify it in Ukraine and abroad.

The New Year 2021 is coming imperceptibly, but confidently and inevitably. In these minutes, it is especially noticeable how fleeting time is. It delights the hearts by combining the best feelings and expectations. As we flip through the 2020 page, let’s hope we’re leaving all the problems in the past.

After a while, we will open a new book of our life. While all of its 365 pages are blank, and what will be written into our history depends on each of us.

Dear staff and students of LTSNU! 2021 is a special year for us, because our Alma Mater will celebrate its 100th anniversary! May this wonderful year bring us great and unforgettable successes, honest and fruitful cooperation, scientific achievements, understanding and respect in the team. May each of you be healthy, happy and successful.

The year of the Ox is coming into its own, so let it become a year of good changes, which will shine with success and luck!
