Help for the university

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received assistance from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

On December 29, 2020, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited our university. This organization is independent, neutral and impartial, whose aims and objectives are exclusively humanitarian in nature and are to protect the life and dignity of people affected by armed conflicts and other situations of violence. “Today we brought computer equipment for Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University within the  Accessible Education Program”, Yulia Spytska, an ICRC specialist said.

Thus, our Alma Mater received humanitarian aid in the form of 30 laptops, 30 computer mice and a multimedia board. “Today will help us to organize even better higher education, especially for children who do not have the opportunity to purchase such equipment for themselves. I believe that this act will be appreciated by our students and teachers,” Serhii Savchenko, Rector of LTSNU said. 

The university family is sincerely grateful to the charitable organization for this help. Only together we can overcome all adversity!
