State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” invites students and school graduates of previous years – future applicants – to take advantage of the unique opportunity to increase the chances for admission to specialties that are given special support, thanks to participation in the All-Ukrainian University Olympiads in biology, geography, chemistry and mathematics.
It’s important to know:
- participation in the Olympiad is free;
- successful participation in the Olympiad makes it possible to receive up to 20 additional points (subject to the completion of 90% of the tasks of the II round of the Olympiad) to the certificate of external independent evaluation in the corresponding competitive subject upon admission to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in specialties that are given special support;
- tasks are drawn up in accordance with the current school curricula in the relevant subjects;
- it makes sense to take part in the Olympiad only in those subjects that are competitive for admission to your chosen specialty.
The Olympiad is held in two rounds:
The first round is remote, which is held using the online testing system (a separate registration is not required).
The participant of the Olympiad from December 24, 2020 to February 24, 2021 must complete the competition tasks posted on the links indicated on the official website of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University at https://luguniv.edu.ua, the Applicants tab (All-Ukrainian Olympiads).
In case of successful completion of the first round by the participant (completion of more than 75% of the tasks), an invitation to participate in the second round will be sent by e-mail specified in the application form. In the first round, you can participate in the Olympiad in several subjects.
The final results of the first round will be posted on March 7, 2021 on the website https://luguniv.edu.ua, the Entrants tab (All-Ukrainian Olympiads).
The second round is full-time, will be held directly at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University on April 1, 2021. The final results of the second round will be posted on April 7, 2021 on the website https://luguniv.edu.ua, the Entrants tab (All-Ukrainian Olympiads).
