Triumph of gymnasts in the international competitions

A student of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the international competitions.

For the first time in history, the national artistic gymnastics team of Ukraine took first place in the team all-around at the European Championship, which was held in Mersin, Turkey.

As a result, the national team of Ukraine was ahead of the team from Turkey by more than 4 points, and the third place was taken by the team from Croatia.

As part of the team, a second-year master’s student majoring in Secondary Education. Physical Culture – Evgen Yudenkov – master of sports of Ukraine of international class, repeated champion of Ukraine, silver and bronze medalist of the World Cup stages, silver medalist of the World Universiade. Earlier, Yevgen, as part of the Ukrainian national team for the world champion, received a license to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Having received the title of European Champion in the team competition, Evgen performed in the individual competition in the finals in certain types of all-around (horse-swings and rings).
