Participation in the meeting of the National Agency

The Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Karaman took part in a joint meeting of the National Agency.

The Director of the ER IPP Olena Karaman, as deputy chairman of the Industry Expert Council, took part in a joint meeting of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The topic of the meeting was a discussion of ways to improve the standards of higher education in specialties of various levels based on the identified controversial issues and shortcomings during accreditation of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in the HEIs of Ukraine during 2020.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education S. Kvit, General Director of the Directorate of Higher Education and Adult Education O. Sharov, representative of the leadership of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine A. Gozhik, expert on analytical issues, coordinator of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform Zh. Talanova , Director of the Institute of Higher Education NAPS of Ukraine S. Kalashnikova, chairmen and deputy chairmen of the Agency’s branch expert councils, etc.

The result of the meeting was the decision to revise the higher education standards of the NMC of the MES of Ukraine together with the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, domestic and European experts in the field of higher education; approval of draft standards for a number of specialties of the first and second levels of higher education, approval of standards for the third (educational and scientific) level of Ph.D.
