Olena Glushchenko, a leading specialist of the Career Development Center, took part in the seminar.

All-Ukrainian seminar on the topic “Discussion of youth policy and ways of its development” was conducted by representatives of youth policy of Ukraine. The lecturer was a well-known political expert, leader of the National Platform party Kateryna Odarchenko.

During the event, those present discussed the problems that today’s youth is not confident in the future and has no prospects for material and social development. Lack of government planning of work requests creates an imbalance in the labor market. At the same time, there is a large gap between the opportunities for young people in big cities and villages. The organizers noted: “The solution of all these problems requires the development and implementation of a new social doctrine of the state youth policy, which should be focused on creating a system of vocational training for young people.

Among the proposed steps for solving the problems, such as “Vocational guidance of young people starting from school age”, “Introduction of vocational and legal education and vocational guidance of young people to help them plan and develop an effective career in the labor market” or “Ensuring the availability of higher and secondary education both in villages and in cities”.

At the end of the event, those present exchanged their impressions of the event and thanked Kateryna for the information-rich seminar.
