LTSNU entered the world ranking “Transparent Ranking: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar Profiles”.

The Transparent Ranking: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar Profiles includes 3813 universities from all over the world. According to it, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took 3356 place. Among 63 Ukrainian HEIs present in the ranking, our university took 56th place. Among the higher educational institutions of the Luhansk region, we are the only ones included in this ranking.

The ranking used publicly available institutional university profiles at Google Scholar Citations. The main criterion for ranking was the number of citations of a particular educational institution. As of July 2020, our Alma Mater has been quoted 2,253 times. These data are based on the materials of the world webometric ranking Webometrics (www.webometrics.info).
