Participation in the webinar

The acting head of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Svitlana Bezborodykh took part in the online webinar.

On December 3, 2020, a webinar was held within the framework of the project “Tourist Attraction and the Image on the Map of the Luhansk Region” within the framework of the United Nations Development Program for Peace Recovery and Development with financial support from the EU. The webinar was organized by the Luhansk Region Tourist Association and the Zvidsy Spatial Development Agency.

The webinar “From Potential to Real Tourist” consisted of four parts. They were dedicated to the topics:

• Preparing the city and the village for domestic tourism.
• Development of scenarios for vacationers, based on the available resource.
• Recreational, cultural, tourist infrastructure design.
• Communication campaigns.

During the webinar, material was proposed regarding the optimal spatial use of the tourism potential of communities and cities in the East of Ukraine.

At the end of the meeting, a panel of questions and answers was held with the possibility of forming project hypotheses for the audience. Thanks to the organizers of the webinar. We hope to have such interesting and useful meetings in the future.
