Educational event with master’s students

The Department of Pedagogy held an educational event with master’s students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

The other day, a virtual discussion “Information educational environment of the university as a condition for the formation of the ecological culture of students” took place under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy Iryna Pavlenko. The purpose of the event is to reveal the pedagogical potential of the information educational environment of a modern higher educational institution in the process of forming the ecological culture of student youth.

In our time, the solution of environmental problems has become one of the criteria for the humanity of society, an indicator of the level of its technical and scientific developments, and this determines the need to improve the ecological culture of a modern person. In the context of total informatization of society, the information educational environment of a higher educational institution undoubtedly acts as an important factor in the formation of the ecological culture of future specialists – the intellectual elite of Ukrainian society. The problems of the formation of ecological culture, including those of applicants for higher education, as well as the factors of influence of the informational educational environment of a higher educational institution, became the subject of a lively discussion. The students also showed the results of content analysis of the official website of our university.

Summing up the event, the discussion leader Iryna Pavlenko quoted the words of the American poet and philosopher Ralph Emerson: “Nature does not tolerate inaccuracies and does not forgive mistakes”. And I wished everyone present to always remember that the environment is us.
