Rectorate Meeting

Rectorate meeting has been held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University today.

The agenda included the issues on the state and prospects of development of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies and the Institute of Economy and Business. Institute directors Hennadii Anatoliiovych Mohylnyi and Valerii Petrovych Khmel presented their reports.

Hennadii Anatoliiovych told about education activity of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies. It is important that the institute supports students and it has significantly succeeded in this direction – about 50 students from LPR have been returned. Institute staff has 27 regular lecturers including 2 doctors of sciences, professors and 13 candidates of sciences.

5 sessions were held during 2014 – 2015 academic year in the city of Kreminna with the participation of about 160 students.

Valerii Petrovych Khmel spoke about research and education activity of the Institute of Economy and Business, told about cooperation with some Ukrainian universities.

The main working directions of the institutes were considered on the base of the reports.
