Competition “100 Years of My University!”

The Design Department of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism has summed up the results of the competition “100 Years of My University!”
At the initiative of the Design Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism for students majoring in Graphic Design and Environment Design, there was held a competition “100 Years of My University!” as part of the program of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our Alma Mater.
The aim of the competition was to stimulate cognitive creative activity of applicants for education; development and popularization of the university; realization of students’ creative abilities; stimulating the integration of the artistic component in the organization of educational activities.
Among the competitive works were presented photographs, graphic images, drawings, volumetric-spatial works related to our university, its history, structure and activities.
To conduct the Competition, an organizing committee and a jury were created, which evaluated the creativity and non-standard thinking of the compositional work, its coloristic solution, design and style of performance.
The contestants demonstrated professionalism, creativity and originality in their works.
When summing up the results, the winners were determined:
- Grand Prix in the nomination “Drawing” – Albina Matveeva, 1st year student majoring in Graphic Design;
- Grand Prix in the nomination “Graphic Work” – Evgenia Pogrebnichenko, 2nd year student majoring in Graphic Design;
- Grand Prix in the nomination “Work in the Material” – Danylo Horbanev, 2nd year student majoring in Graphic Design.
Works were awarded for imagination and creativity:
- Olena Ivanova, 4th year student majoring in Graphic Design;
- Margarita Starikova, 2nd year student majoring in Graphic Design;
- Alona Andreeva, 3rd year student majoring in Graphic Design.
The winners will receive certificates and prizes.
