How to get the desired job?

Students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences listened to a lecture on the topic “How to get the desired job?”.

Olena Glushchenko, a leading specialist at the Career Development Center, organized a meeting of  students with a member of the national agency for quality assurance in higher education Lidia Fesenko. The theme of the event was “How to get the desired job?”.

During the speech, the narrator told the audience about how to look for a job correctly. According to her, it is better to search on specialized sites (WORK.ua; Linkedln), resource centers (GURT) and social networks (Telegram, FB).

During the event, the audience learned about the necessary documents for employment, their differences in Ukraine and abroad. Lidia dwelled on the issues of “CV / Resume” and “Motivation / Covering Letter” in detail.

Students, in turn, actively asked questions about the timing of updating the resume, the rules for designing a portfolio and were interested in the personality of the narrator herself. She gladly provided detailed answers to questions and willingly told about herself, gave contact details for communication with those present. To the question “How to pass an interview?” she answered: “The most important thing is to be yourself and not to lie”.

At the end of the event, Lidia wished our students not to be afraid to highlight their positive and negative sides, to develop and self-actualize. The main thing is not to forget that not everything depends on us, so you should always strive for more.
