Students of the Department of Production Technologies and Vocational Education learn new techniques of curly cutting vegetables in practical classes.
How can you organize training and practice remotely while getting a profession? Teachers and applicants for higher education of the ER ICSTT have found a way. Within the framework of the discipline “Technology of Products of the Restaurant Industry” students of the specialty HRB-2 master techniques. Applicants for education have timed their work to coincide with the 100th university, which our university will celebrate in March 2021. They promised to create a real masterpiece from fruit slices by the anniversary.
Under quarantine conditions, education seekers perform laboratory work and practical tasks that must be passed at home. After repeating the rules on labor protection and safety when using tools and equipment for processing and cutting vegetables, the students proceeded to the task. Vegetables were cut into strips and slices, sticks, cubes, and circles.

According to Dmytro Kramarenko, Associate Professor of the Department, students of the group coped well with the tasks set, showed creative imagination, creativity and professionalism in their work, and presented their own abilities. Indeed, in order to tastefully decorate the table, sometimes it is enough to properly cut and beautifully lay out vegetables and herbs on an interesting dish. Mastering the basic forms of cutting vegetables is not at all an easy task, which our education seekers coped with perfectly!
