Online Open Day

Online Open Day was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

Today, November 21st, our higher educational institution held the Online Open Day for the first time this academic year. Despite the quarantine measures, the event took place online using the Zoom platform. On this day, future applicants had the opportunity to talk with the vice-rectors for scientific and pedagogical work, the executive secretary of the admissions committee, as well as deans and teachers of structural subdivisions. 

At the beginning of the conference, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko addressed all those present with a welcoming speech. In his speech, he spoke about the university, the geography of its location, and also acquainted with the teaching staff.

The executive secretary of the admissions committee Alina Beshkinska informed those present about the admission campaign-2021, the rules for admission to our higher educational institution. She also noted that the conditions for admission have not yet been approved and may be changed.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev joined the conversation, telling the applicants about the living conditions in dormitories.

In turn, future students and their parents actively asked questions about the necessary certificates of the External independent evaluation for admission to the chosen specialties, the number of budgetary places, student life, and employment opportunities in the future. The applicants were also interested in individual structural subdivisions, where representatives of faculties, institutes or colleges provided complete information.

Online Open Day is a great opportunity to help applicants decide where exactly they will receive higher education. Our university is the guarantor of quality knowledge in the east of Ukraine, so do not hesitate and join the friendly family of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!
