The Department of Pedagogy sincerely congratulates the staff of the Department of Philological Disciplines of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology on the 40th anniversary!

This date is undoubtedly a significant event not only for the staff of your department, but for the entire scientific and pedagogical university family. This is a solid date with numerous achievements!

During these years of formation and professional growth, your department has become not only a real center of linguistic and literary science at the Psychological and Pedagogical Faculty and at the University, but also the center of publishing popular magazines among students and teachers, which have always fostered love for the native word and formed the speech culture of future specialists in our region.

For decades of conscientious work, the teachers of the department have trained hundreds of highly qualified specialists who now work in different parts of our state in the field of pedagogy, philology, local history, journalism, proudly affirming the big name of not only the department, pedagogical faculty, but also the university.

The glorious path of formation of the department became possible thanks to the significant personal achievements of both veterans and its current employees. The memory of scientists will always live on, who, working at the department at different times, made their invaluable contribution to science, improved the methodology of preparing a future teacher, strengthened international linguistic ties, simply made the life of students and teachers interesting and culturally rich.

This is the first Head of the Department – Excellence in Public Education of the USSR, Excellence in Education of Ukraine, veteran of labor – Associate Professor Iraida Ivanivna Postnikova, this is a Professor, a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and the National Union of Regional Studies of Ukraine – Oleksii Ivanovych Nezhyvyi, who organized a literary and regional study work at the department and Tyutyunnikov readings, which later became traditional. This is Professor, Doctor of Philological Sciences, founder of the Luhansk phraseological scientific school – Viktor Uzhchenko, whose scientific works are known in Ukraine and the world.

And today the matter of meters of philology is being successfully continued by you. Among you are their talented students and descendants. You go further, not stopping before difficulties and challenges of fate. Each in his place, either managing the scientific and pedagogical work of the entire university, or organizing the coordinated educational and effective scientific work of the institute, or attracting students to the social and humanitarian, or replenishing the library funds, or improving the quality indicator of scientific and pedagogical workers, helping to obtain an academic degree or even showing not only high professional skill every day in pairs, but also an actor or director in a talented theatrical production, which becomes a memorable event in the life of the university.

The Department of Pedagogy wishes your team further creative successes, inexhaustible energy for new scientific and professional achievements! May all the most wonderful hopes and plans for the benefit of the native university, the formation and prosperity of Ukraine come true!
