Academic seminar “Problems of Training Students for External Independent Evaluation – 2016” has been held at LNU today.

The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Pre-professional Education of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University jointly with the Department of Education and Science, Donetsk Regional Center for Education Quality Evaluation and Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.

The seminar was participated in by the experts in preparing for EIE of district and city departments of Luhansk region, school directors, teachers and university lecturers.

LNU Rector Serhii Savchenko and Pro-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko greeted seminar participants.

Pro-rector of LRIPPE Yu. V. Stetsiuk told about current state and prospects of external independent evaluation. Training teachers for EIE 2016 was reported about by resource specialist of Department of Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines and Methods of Their Teaching at LRIPPE V. Ye. Kolodizhna (“Training Teachers of Ukrainian Language and Literature for EIE 2016”); resource specialist of Department of Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines and Methods of Their Teaching at LRIPPE O. S. Nikitchenko (“Training Foreign Language Teachers for EIE 2016”); resource specialist in history and jurisprudence of Department of Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines and Methods of Their Teaching at LRIPPE I. V. Khailo (“Training Teachers of Ukrainian History for EIE 2016”) and L. N. Stetsiuk, Department of  Natural Sciences  and Methods of Their Teaching at LRIPPE (“Guidelines in Mathematics to Prepare for EIE 2016”).

The director of pre-professional education of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Associated Professor, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences N. Yu. Matsai told about preparing for EIE at LNU.

Dean of Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications, Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences T. S. Pinchuk told about the features of pre-university preparing for EIE in Ukrainian literature.

Deputy Dean of Department of Ukrainian Philology and  Social Communication N. N. Karlova reported on distance course of preparing for EIE in Ukrainian language via the tools of LNU distance study website.

Also they considered possible variants of cooperation regarding preparing for external independent evaluation and ways to optimize educational process in subjects which can be tested.
