Lecture for students

A lecture on the topic “Employment in a Crisis Situation, Namely During the Spread of COVID-19. Social Security and Quarantine Rules” was held for the university students. 

Recently, the head of the Student Social Service Sector of the Legal Department Olena Dukhova together with the leading specialist of the Career Development Center Olena Glushchenko held a meeting with students who live in dormitories. The event was carried out in compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological standards. The topic of the lecture was “Employment in a Crisis Situation, Namely During the Spread of COVID-19. Social Security and Quarantine Rules”.

Olena Glushchenko, a representative of the Career Development Center, told the audience about how to get a job now. “Even during the coronavirus crisis, students have the opportunity to find a source of income in Starobilsk city. If you can’t get a job the first time, don’t be upset. When looking for a job, you should be persistent and patient. He who seeks will always find,” Olena said. During her speech, she shared tips for remote workers with the audience. Among which the main ones are “Do not be afraid to ask for help”, “Do not be afraid of any work”, “Do not pay attention to others” and so on. To consolidate the material received, the students completed the exercise “Self-presentation”.

Olena Dukhova, head of the Student Social Service Sector of the Legal Department, answered the questions of those present on the observance of epidemiological measures and living conditions in dormitories. In order to make the conversation interesting, Olena played a yes or no game with those present.

The lecture turned out to be interesting and informative. Thanks to this event, students once again became convinced that there are no desperate situations and even in difficult times it is possible to find a job.
