Participation in the International Conference

Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Publishing Kateryna Ulianova took part in the International Conference.
On November 12, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Publishing Kateryna Ulianova took part in the 22nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Journalism-2020: State, Problems and Prospects”, which was held within the framework of the Belarusian State University. Due to quarantine restrictions, the event took place on the Zoom internet platform.
As a result of the conference, an online discussion “International Journalism and Discourse Analysis of Media Processes” took place, where the participant made a report “Dynamics of Development of the East Ukrainian Periodicals in the Middle of the 19th Century- First Half of the 20th Century.”
The geography of the International Conference was wide enough, colleagues not only from different HEIs of Belarus, but also from Armenia, Russia and other universities of Ukraine took part in it. The international community of journalism scholars and press experts showed a special interest in the authentic history of the Luhansk press, its leading personalities and development trends on the specific national Ukrainian soil.
The creative atmosphere was friendly, which makes possible further cooperation with the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University.
