9.11.2020
For 20 years in a row, the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology has been participating in the Radio Dictation of National Unity on the initiative of the Department of Philological Disciplines.
November 9, 2020 is the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. The holiday was introduced by a presidential decree of 1997 in honor of Nestor the Chronicler. On the occasion of the holiday, teachers and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology joined the writing of the All-Ukrainian XX radio dictation of national unity. In addition, fans of the Ukrainian language quoted famous sayings and poems about the language. The live broadcast of the special project began at 9:00 and was carried out on the UA: FIRST TV channel, as well as on the air of UA: Ukrainian Radio and UA: Radio Culture. This year the radio dictation of national unity is jubilee – the 20th in a row. The text for the jubilee radio dictation was written by the winner of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, an outstanding writer and publisher Ivan Malkovych. The dictation “Challenges of the Book Era” was read by the famous actress Rymma Ziubina.
The main goal of writing a dictation is the popularization of the Ukrainian language, attention to it, books, by the way, in general. On this festive Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, the teaching staff and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology sincerely wish all of us to love and cherish our native language. Let the mother’s word be a talisman for all of us.
