Successful defense of the doctoral dissertation

The staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology congratulates Svitlana Bader on the successful defense of her doctoral dissertation.

One of the important strategic tasks of the ER IPP is to improve the quality of the staff, as evidenced by the annual defense of dissertation research. On November 4, 2020, at the meeting of the Dissertation Council D.29.053.01 for the defense of doctoral (candidate’s) dissertations in pedagogy, chaired by Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, University Rector Serhii Savchenko, the head of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education Svitlana Bader was awarded the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences. Olena Karaman, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology became the scientific consultant.

The dissertation work of Svitlana Bader “The system of formation of value-semantic orientations of future educators of preschool education institutions in vocational training” was carried out within the framework of the complex scientific topic of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education “The system of training vocationally competent specialists in preschool and primary education.”

The official opponents of the thesis were:

• Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Leading Researcher of the Department of Theory and Practice of Pedagogical Education of the Ivan Zyazyun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Kucheriavyi;
• Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University Natalia Tkachova;
• Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogical and Social Education of the Mykolaiv V.O. Sukhomlynskyi National University Tetiana Stepanova.

The dissertation aroused considerable scientific interest among the members of the dissertation council and lively discussion. According to the results of the brilliant defense, it was unanimously decided to award Svitlana Bader the scientific degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methodology of vocational education. We wish Svitlana Bader and her scientific consultant Olena Karaman creative inspiration, further scientific achievements, which will be the key to success for the Department of Preschool and Primary Education and the educational and scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology in general.
