Medals of Ukrainian Championship

A student of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports successfully performed at the Ukrainian Championship.

The Ukrainian Goju-Ryu Karate Championship was held in Odesa. Artem Pozharov, a first-year student majoring in Physical Culture and Sports, is a member of the national team of the Luhansk region, which took the second place among 16 regions. In addition to the silver medal in the team championship, Artem successfully performed in the individual competition.

In the Shobu-kumite section in the 18 + p category, (-75kg) he received a bronze medal, and in the 18 + p category, (-60 kg) – a silver medal. In the competition section Kata Rengonai he confidently defeated his rivals and won a gold medal at the Championship. In general, Artem won one gold, two silver and one bronze medals. The champion is a member of the Ukrainian national team among juniors.
