Opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Alma Mater

At the end of October, the grand opening of the exhibition of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies took place.
In the premises of the Scientific Library of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, an exhibition was opened, dedicated to the main scientific, educational and socio-educational achievements of teachers and the directorate of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies. This exhibition is part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, which will be determined in 2021.
In connection with anti-epidemiological measures, the exhibition is held in two formats: in the library premises and online, where the scientific works of the leading teachers of the ER IPMIT are presented in electronic form.
Separately, we can single out scientists who have significant results in Scopus: Anatolii Zhuchok – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor; Yurii Zhuchok – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor; Hennadii Mohylnyi – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; Yurii Kozub – Doctor of Technical Sciences.
The highlight of the exhibition were the patents of the leading teachers of the Department of Information Technologies and Systems: Ihor Kireev – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; Volodymyr Donchenko – Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Senior Lecturer and others.
It is important to note the scientific and methodological manuals created by Natalia Vasilenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical and Technical Systems and Informatics, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
A significant amount of offline exposition is occupied by the presentation of the journal “Algebra and Discrete Mathematics”, which is published on the basis of the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis of LTSNU in cooperation with the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2017, the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies has been the responsible subdivision for participation in the MoPED project – “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments”, which is dedicated to the modernization of the curriculum of pedagogical HEIs in Ukraine by introducing modern methods teaching using ICT and results research methods. Among the project participants are Ukrainian and foreign HEIs and a company for assessing the quality of project implementation: Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University – project coordinator (for the first time in the history of the ERASMUS + program, the Ukrainian HEI is the coordinator) Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University; Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hrygorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University; Pavlo Tychina Uman State Pedagogical University; State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. MoPED is a higher education capacity building project aimed at modernizing universities in Ukraine. The goal is to modernize educational programs for pedagogical HEIs in Ukraine by including new courses based on the latest IT-methods and technologies. Through the introduction of new pedagogical methods, the project affects the quality of pedagogical higher education and strengthens the digital and didactic competencies of future teachers. The exhibition also presents moments from student life: student performances at scientific conferences, participation in patriotic events, participation in international grant programs and sports.
