However, the main participants in the meeting were military students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, who since 2014 have been defending the territorial integrity and independence of our Ukraine!

Olena Karaman, moderator of the Dialogue from LTSNU, said that 1600 participants in hostilities, representatives of various combat arms, are currently receiving or received education at the university. And these are mainly residents of Western Ukraine – the cities of Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and others. Defenders from all over Ukraine were united by a common goal – victory, the state flag and the holy Ukrainian land.

The students brought out the national flag, completely covered by fragments of ammunition, hanging on the wall in the rector’s office. With this flag in 2014, the 80th Airmobile Brigade defended Luhansk airport. Volunteers, risking their lives, took it out of the occupied Luhansk and handed it over to the staff of our university. Luhansk airport is long gone, it was completely destroyed. Hundreds of our soldiers died there. And this blue-yellow flag as a shrine is always with us, gives strength to never give up and not lose heart.
