Attracting freshmen to social and humanitarian work

First-year students of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies join the  institute family.

Student activists, teachers and the administration of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies attract first-year students not only to conscientious studies, but also to participate in various events and activities.

To improve the general cultural level of students, an excursion was organized on the topic “Memorable places of the Luhansk region, which reflect the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.” Also, students had the opportunity to view the hall “Rubizhne – a Place on the Sand” and the thematic exhibition “Your Pride, Luhansk Region!”

Students listened attentively to stories about the formation of the city of Rubizhne and the main directions of its development. Also, they learned a lot of new and interesting facts about the development of the Cossacks in the Luhansk region, the struggle of the Ukrainian people for freedom, etc.

For all-round development, football and volleyball matches were organized between senior students and freshmen. The competitions took place in the open air, in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards.

Freshmen are also actively involved in work in the “Youtube Blog Studio”. So, student Ilia Pryschepa wished to try himself as a streamer. We hope that his channel will reach millions of views.
