Spartakiad at the IPES

Competitions of the Spartakiad started at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. 

The Spartakiad dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” has started at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. 

At the 1st stage, three teams of the first-year students, the combined team of the third-year students of all specialties and the combined team of the first-year master’s students took part in the volleyball competitions. The best in the competition was the third-year team, which defeated all the participants of the 1st stage and scored 12 points. The second place was taken by the combined team of the first-year master’s students with 9 points, the third place – the team of the first-year students majoring in Physical Culture and Sports. Sports – 6 points. The fourth place was taken by the team of the first-year students majoring in Secondary Education. Physical Culture – 3 points. The fifth place was taken by the team of Physical Therapy. Ergotherapy.

There were also futsal competitions consisted of two stages. The first stage was attended by three teams of first-year students, two teams of third-year students and the combined team of the first-year master’s students and teachers. 

The second stage was attended by three teams of first-year students and two teams of the second-year students. 

We are looking forward to the third final stage and play-offs to determine the best team of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
