Championship medals

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship.

More than 300 athletes from 20 regions of Ukraine gathered in the village of Poliana of the Transcarpathian region at the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship among boys and girls up to 17.

Representatives of the Luhansk region performed successfully, having won gold medals in the team competition among boys and girls. With a large margin, they outstripped such regions as Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odesa, etc.

As part of the regional national team among girls, students of the ER IPES:

Yulia Naumchuk (1st year of the FCS) – in the weight category of 76 kg took the 1st place with a result of 158 kg in the combined event (78 + 80);

Daria Shishanova (1st year of the FCS) – in the 64 kg weight category won a bronze medal with a result of 163 kg in the combined event (73 + 90);

Anastasia Banchenko (1st course of SEFC) – 4th place in the 71 kg weight category with a score of 152 kg (67 + 85).
