Meeting of the Student Self-Government

A regular meeting of the Student Self-Government took place at the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences.
Students familiarized the first year with the specifics of the work of the Self-Government at the Institute, reported for the past academic year, discussed the work plan for the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. In addition, they announced for freshmen a recruitment into the choir and dance group at the Institute. They discussed ideas and plans for holding central holidays and events at the Faculty of History: “Day of the Education Worker”; “Hello, We are Looking for Talents”; “Initiation into Students”, etc.
This time on the agenda, in addition to urgent issues, was the re-election of representatives of student self-government in three central positions: president, chairman of the dormitory council and trade union organizer of “SKIF”.
Thus, according to the results of the open vote, the position of the president of SKIF was received by the second-year student majoring in Political Science Margarita Kononenko. Serhii Sportesny, second-year student majorign in Political Science, was elected the chairman of the dormitory council. Yulia Bondar, third year student majoring in Political Science, became the trade union organizer.
After voting, students had the opportunity to express their opinions and suggestions, make announcements, communicate on the most relevant topics in the first semester of study. At the end of the event, the students congratulated the new student activists on their posts and expressed their hope for active cooperation, dedication to their work and their native institute.
