Health Day

The Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held the Health Day on the last day of September. Teachers and students came to Starobilsk birch grove.

Warm sunny day, bright-colored wood, a river, good mood and a team spirit created wonderful atmosphere covered students and teachers.

Student directorate and teaching staff of the Institute suggested a holiday scenario: contests, sport competitions and leisure.

Students were divided into 8 teams by specialties. Each team prepared a presentation: team title and motto, sing and favorite dish.

Among interesting mottos and team names – Patriots, Blowballs, 220 Volts, Rescuers, Legion, Sprite, Band, Youth of XXI century.

Everybody were impressed with students’ skills in cooking national dishes – baked potato with bacon, varenyky with cracklings flavored with sour cream, Cossack porridge, pies with cabbage, potatoes and apples, fruit cocktails, barbecues, etc.

Physical education teachers V. O. Zaitsev and N. O. Haiduk conducted sport competitions and relay races: “Funny Starts”, “Tug-of-War” and “Volleyball”. Everyone received prizes.

Students were coming back with joyful sings and jokes. The event united them, made them feel the team spirit and responsibility for a common goal.

Students and teachers are going to conduct the next Health Day in spring when nature wakes up and blooms.
