We Are in History. Economics and Business – Ukrainian Realities

On October 5, the scientific library hosted the grand opening of the exhibition “We Are in History. Economics and Business – Ukrainian Realities” of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.

The exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University highlights the main achievements of the institution’s structural subdivisions.

The exposition presented the main achievements of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business for almost 20 years of its history.

The teachers of the institute are reputable scientists, recognized not only in Ukraine, but also in the European scientific space. Thus, the teachers of each department presented their scientific works, monographs, teaching aids and articles. A large number of certificates, certificates of honor and awards were presented, which were awarded to teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.

The sports achievements of students are a special reason for pride. The girls’ national volleyball team has repeatedly won the university competitions; Iryna Pliasulia and Daria Zadorozhna are the winners of regional and all-Ukrainian competitions.

It has become a good tradition for the institute to hold a student initiation holiday for freshmen and the “Hello, We are Looking for Talents” competition.

The opening of the Youth Business Club was a special event last year. Students have the opportunity to network with successful entrepreneurs, gain hands-on experience in running a business and overcoming different problems. This year the Business Club continues its activities and the first meeting will take place soon.

The exhibition was opened by the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Doctor of Pedagogy Serhii Savchenko. In his speech, he noted a large number of scientific achievements of the Institute of Economics and Business. The honored guests also came to the holiday, including the vice-rectors for scientific and pedagogical work Oleksandr Meniailenko and Oleksandr Babichev.

The opening of the exhibition took place in compliance with quarantine restrictions. During the week, students and teachers have the opportunity to view the exposition.
