Independence Day of Turkmenistan

Independence Day of Turkmenistan was celebrated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages on the 25th of September, 2020.
One of the main public holidays of students from Turkmenistan, a very important moment of the year, which they take very seriously and celebrate it for several days. It is no secret that the Turkmen nation is very friendly, so they all came to the holiday together awaiting congratulations from the dean and teachers, and also waited for some surprise. We could not leave the students without the latter, but more on that will be later.
The holiday was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Svitlana Oleksandrivna Shekhavtsova with her sincere congratulations and wishes. The dean of the faculty always knows how to help foreign students, what advice to give, impeccable experience in communicating with foreigners made Svitlana Oleksandrivna is a very important and special person for students, therefore it was her words that touch the soul of every foreigner at the faculty and the students were so waiting for her speech. Deputies Deans L.A. Ovcharova and V.A. Shkarlet came to the holiday with the warmest congratulations, as well as curators of academic groups S.A.Shpetnaya, S.V.Lenskaya, O.N.Kirichenko and Kryzhanovskaya O.A., who recalled funny moments from student life, and also reminded of the important goal of each of the students, why they study and what exactly they can achieve thanks to their desire to learn and persistent efforts in each case.
The organizer of the event, Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work V.A. Shkarlet prepared several videos about Turkmenistan, about the main city of the country, Ashgabat, which made students go back to their native memories of their homeland and become a little sad, but this is only so that students do not feel lonely, because we know how difficult it is for them and we want to support them.
And the final part of the event was a surprise video with photographs of the students, which they once made for themselves. Each photo is very valuable for them, because there is student life, beloved teachers, holidays in Ukraine, new friends, unforgettable places, and most importantly, in all the photos they are all together, such friendly and brave students from Turkmenistan.
