21.9.2020
Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts took part in the Local History Art Weekend.
On September 19, a traditional project “Local History ART WEEKEND” was presented in the Poltava Local History Museum named after Vasyl Krichevsky. It was implemented in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards and recommendations. The theme of the project was the cultural code of the “Eneida” by Kotliarevskyi in illustrations and works of art.
The Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts acted as a co-organizer of the event. Everyone could take part in master classes on potting, ceramics, linocut, collage, some of which were conducted by the teachers of the institute.
The performance of Kozak Siromakha was a pleasant surprise for the visitors; a thematic excursion “Story about the Eneida by Ivan Kotliarevskyi in illustrations” and a lecture hall “Preservation of cultural heritage” were held. Students of the institute, residents of Poltava and guests of the city listened to the art history lecture “The image of the city in photographs of the twentieth century”, conducted by the teacher of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts Artur Aroyan.
Everyone could go through the “Heroic Quest” and receive a gift, master the basics of Cossack martial art, shoot a bow, take part in a musical jam or relax in the lounge zone. Students majoring in Audiovisual Art and Production took pictures of the event, interviewed and photographed.
In the evening, was held a conversation with Yurii Andrukhovych “Eternal Journey or Eneida” with a demonstration of materials from the performance of the same name.
