Supporting organizations that find themselves in difficult situations due to COVID-19.
ISAR Association, as a strategic partner of the European Union, is launching the EU4 Civil Society Sustainability in Ukraine project within the framework of the Strategic Partnerships for the Development of Civil Society Organizations in the Eastern Partnership countries.
Our goal is to strengthen the resilience of public and charitable organizations to challenges and emergencies, help overcome possible negative influences and ensure the continuous implementation of our missions.
Therefore, at the start of the project, we announce a grant competition “Fast Necessary Support” and invite Ukrainian organizations to take part.
This grant competition aims to provide access to resources for organizations that are at risk from COVID-19. According to experts’ forecasts, the second wave of the pandemic, which will come in autumn and winter, will deal an even stronger blow than in spring. Therefore, it is important today to support and strengthen the capabilities of the CSO to face the challenges posed by the pandemic.
The specific objectives of this grant competition are:
- Contribute to strengthening the capacity of CSOs to adapt and confront the challenges and impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic;
- Support CSOs’ efforts to meet community needs, engage citizens in local initiatives, and build community resilience in the face of unforeseen challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic;
- Facilitate support for CSOs (development of their organizational capacity) working with vulnerable populations to provide assistance and services to their beneficiaries under unforeseen circumstances and restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic;
- Facilitate support for the activities of CSO associations, platforms, networks aimed at increasing CSO resilience to the challenges of the pandemic and rapid response to the needs of beneficiaries in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is expected that the implementation period of projects under this call for grants will be from 3 to 12 months.
Reception of project proposals is ongoing, applications are reviewed monthly.
