Congratulations on the defense of doctoral dissertation

Congratulations to Oleh Zakhozhai and his scientific consultant Oleksandr Meniailenko on the defense of doctoral dissertation.

At the meeting of the Specialized Academic Council D 38.053.05 for the defense of doctoral dissertation in specialty 05.13.06 – information technologies at the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, the academic degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences was awarded to Oleh Zakhozhai, Associate Professor of the Department of Electronic Systems of Donbas State Technical University.

The scientific consultant of the work is the Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Meniailenko. The official opponents of the study were Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Igor Kovalenko (Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University), Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Valerii Danilov (NTUU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”) and Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ihor Shostak (National Aerospace University named after M.E. Zhukovsky, “KhAI”).

The dissertation research “Models, Methods and Information Technologies of Hybrid Pattern Recognition for Consolidated Processing of Heterogeneous Data in Complex Systems” was carried out at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

One of the interesting elements of the work is that in order to determine the queue of processing the signs of a complex system, a method and information model for determining the sequence of data processing has been developed, based on a generalization of the model of human emotional processes. In addition, the results of scientific development are protected by six patents of Ukraine.
