A holiday for freshmen at the Institute of Culture and Arts
16.9.2020
The Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts gladly met the freshmen.
On September 15, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts celebrated a double holiday: Health Day and the symbolic September 1st for freshmen. Health Day is a traditional and favorite event that all students look forward to, so it was decided to expand its program and devote time to new students 2020, who were left without the usual Knowledge Day because of the quarantine.
Holding an outdoor event in order to improve the safety of all participants was a pleasant gift: after all, the September weather was still warm and gentle. The Poltava arboretum hospitably received the entire contingent of the institute, and a large clearing allowed all students and teachers to comfortably accommodate, keeping the required distance from each other.
The holiday began with welcoming speech of the director of the institute Nelia Nazarenko, who expressed her hope that studying at the ER ICA would bring new students only positive emotions, development and new professional and friendly acquaintances. In the future, senior students contributed to the acceptance of freshmen into the friendly family of the ER ICA, actively showing how they know how to have fun, relax and demonstrate their talents.
After the presentation of each specialty, there was a competitive program consisted of the karaoke and dance battle already loved by many, as well as competitions for agility, non-standard thinking and reaction speed. After the competition program, there was a “free microphone”, where everyone could sing their favorite songs. The holiday ended with a solemn announcement of the winning team, congratulations to the administration, presentation of badges with university symbols, prizes for freshmen and a festive disco.
The Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts congratulates the first-year students and all students on the new academic year and wishes to spend it productively, cheerfully and with inspiration.
