Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences have successfully passed the selection for participation in the cooperation development program.
This summer, the research team of the Department of Political Science and Law, consisting of master’s students and students Yevgeniya Krikun, Roman Bordiug, Anastasia Tsyganok, Margarita Kononenko and the department’s teacher Marina Rusanova, was successfully selected to participate in the cooperation development program between universities, civil society and local authorities through the creation of a network of university analytical centers.
This program was announced by the School of Political Analytics of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” with the financial support of the US Embassy in Ukraine. Research teams from scientific or analytical centers at universities, as well as initiative groups that are just planning to create an analytical team, were invited to participate.
From the point of view of the School of Political Analytics of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, these structures at universities have every chance to become the engines of the development of local democracy and make a significant contribution to the formation of evidence-based public policy.
This program includes training in policy analysis, analytical writing, research methods (quantitative and qualitative), the use of open data, project management, communication and advocacy.
