Entrance examinations for postgraduate studies have begun at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Postgraduate studies are an important step in the real scientific life. Since 1965, our university has been training highly qualified specialists who develop the research sphere not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.
For the 55th time in a row, our higher education institution is recruiting students for postgraduate studies. Persons who have already received a master’s degree or an educational-qualification level of a specialist have the right to apply to obtain the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy for full-time and part-time forms of study. This year, 11 people have the opportunity to study at the expense of the state order (5 places – full-time, 6 places – part-time). Documents have already been submitted from persons living not only in the Luhansk region, but also in the cities of Poltava and Lviv.
Today, there are 13 specialties in postgraduate studies: 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences; 015 Professional Education (by specialization); 025 Musical Art; 032 History and Archeology; 035 Philology; 051 Economics; 052 Political Science; 054 Sociology; 073 Management; 111 Mathematics; 201 Agronomy; 231 Social work; 281 Public Management and Administration.
Today, 03 September 2020, the first entrance examination in philosophy was held. At the beginning, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Leonid Vakhovskyi addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The examiner, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor Yulia Nuzhna told the applicants the organizational aspects of passing the exams. For almost two hours, prospective applicants answered 100 test questions.
Tomorrow, September 04, 2020, a foreign language exam will take place, and on Saturday – a specialty exam.
We congratulate the applicants on one of the most important steps in their life and wish them success in passing the entrance exams and good luck in writing their dissertation.
