“Modern Educational Institutions – 2020”

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received the title “Leader of Research and Scientific and Technical Activities” and gold medals for competitive works at the exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2020”.

On August 4-6, 2020, on the basis of the Kyiv Sports Palace, the Eleventh International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2020” and the Exhibition of Education Abroad “World Edu” are held. The event was organized by the Exhibition World Company with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The results of the contests were summed up at the exhibition and an information-rich thematic program will be held.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was awarded the title “Leader of Research and Scientific and Technical Activities”. The educational and scientific community from all over Ukraine recognized the relocated HEI as a promising university, which remains the center of scientific activity.

At the Kyiv Sports Palace, the Grand Prix “Leader of Research and Technical Activities” was awarded to the chairman of the Academic Council of LTSNU Vitalii Kurylo. “This distinction is very important, especially in this difficult year. Despite all the difficulties, the university took part in the exhibition and showed that it is seriously engaged in research and technical activities. The university has confirmed its high educational and scientific levelsˮ, Vitalii Kurylo said. 

Also at this exhibition, scientists of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology presented a competitive work “The work of a preschool educator with parents in inclusion” in the nomination “Comprehensive support for a child with special educational needs as a condition for the successful implementation of the inclusive educational policy”, which received a gold medal.

The work submitted for the competition has a pronounced relevance of the research. It lies in the fact that socio-economic instability, the military conflict in the east of Ukraine caused an environmental catastrophe and post-traumatic stress disorders in the population, led to a sharp increase in the number of children with various psychophysical disabilities. Therefore, the organization of the work of the teacher of the preschool institution with parents in conditions of inclusion is a priority direction of the work of a modern preschool institution. 

The aim of the research is scientific substantiation, development of theoretical and practical aspects of the work of an educator of a preschool education institution with parents in conditions of inclusion.

The result of the research is the development of a methodological manual, Individual comprehensive family program and methodological recommendations for the implementation of social and pedagogical support for parents of children with psychophysical developmental disorders “HAPPY FAMILY”.

Another gold medal was awarded for the competitive work of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism “Formation of competitiveness of future specialists in the tourism industry in the process of animation activities” in the nomination “Competence approach is the basis for the quality of educational content”.

The project has a pronounced theoretical and practical significance. “The work contains a wealth of material over the past fifteen years from our professional foreign practices and the developments of our teachers,” Viktor Drel noted. 

The theoretical significance of the work lies in the fact that for the first time the theoretical and technological foundations for the formation of competitive future specialists in the tourism industry in the process of animation activity have been scientifically substantiated and developed.

The practical significance lies in the development and implementation of technologies for the formation of the competitiveness of future specialists in the tourism industry through the implementation in practice of the content, forms and methods of complex animation activities.

Another premium of the highest grade – the certificate “Quality of Scientific Publications” – was also presented to the university delegation.

The received medals and the title “Leader of Research and Scientific and Technical Activities” at the International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2020” are the result of hard work and dedication of the entire educational community of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. It is precisely because innovative educational activities are the driving force of our higher educational institution that we rise in Ukrainian and world rankings.
