“Modern Educational Institutions – 2020”

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the Eleventh International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2020”.
The exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2020” is a great opportunity for teachers to exchange experience, demonstrate their own developments, come to innovative ideas through cooperation. This event clearly demonstrates the desire of scientists for self-development and the desire to delve into the modern world of innovation and technology.
The holding of this large-scale professional event is proof that, despite the quarantine, the educational industry in our state does not stop developing and shaping the future of the country. Ukrainian scientists, educators, lecturers, teachers with their hard work contribute to the development of not only Ukrainian, but also world science.
Today, August 4, 2020, in the Kyiv Sports Palace, the grand opening of the largest exhibition of Ukraine in the field of education – the Eleventh International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2020” took place. Due to the global pandemic COVID-19, it was postponed from March to August.
The organizers of the exhibition are Exhibition World Company with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
Despite the quarantine conditions, the exhibition turned out to be large-scale. Educators and scientists from educational institutions of Ukraine took part in order to demonstrate their innovations and discoveries.
This year, our HEI is represented by a delegation consisting of the Chairman of the Academic Council of LTSNU Vitalii Kurylo, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism Viktor Drel, Senior Laboratory Assistant of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the ER IPP Karina Borisenko and specialist of the 1st category of the Marketing Department Viktoria Kalinina.
The university took part in two competitions:
- Rating exhibition competition with the awarding of the Grand Prix winners “Leader of Higher Education of Ukraine”;
- Competition in thematic nominations with awarding the winners with gold, silver and bronze medals.
According to the results of the competitive selection, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received the Grand Prix “Leader of Research and Scientific and Technical Activities”. The Director of the Exhibition World Company Svitlana Rudko awarded the Grand Prix to the Chairman of the Academic Council of LTSNU Vitalii Kurylo.
Our higher educational institution received the honorary title “Leader of Research and Scientific and Technical Activity” not by chance, because its activity is indicative and multifunctional. The teaching staff is making every effort to develop the scientific industry both in Ukraine and abroad.
In the thematic nomination “Comprehensive support for a child with special needs as a condition for the successful implementation of the inclusive educational policy” scientists of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology received a gold medal.
To participate in the thematic nomination “Competence approach is the basis for the quality of educational content”, teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism prepared a work on the topic “Formation of the competitiveness of future specialists in the tourism industry in the process of animation”. Based on the results of the competitive selection and examination, LTSNU also received a gold medal for its work.
Another premium of the highest grade – the certificate “Quality of Scientific Publications” – was also presented to the university delegation.
The exhibition was also visited by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Artur Seletskyi, who congratulated the university on the received awards and wished further success.
So the first day of the largest educational event in 2020 has come to the end. We have interesting seminars, workshops and master classes ahead, which will take 2 more days.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University develops and gets stronger every year, and the received awards are proof of this. We are proud of our native Alma Mater and wish it further prosperity and achievement of new heights!
